IPC
is International Patent Classification. Example of IPC Subclass: F25D

Results are provided as standard Search Report (see sample Search Report for Russian Prior Art search) plus copies of found documents.
Search Report and copies of documents are delivered as PDF files by email.

We understand that most requests for search are most likely related to some ongoing patent litigation.
We did carried out few prior art searches for patent litigators in the US. As a rule, in such cases thoroughness is the number one priority, followed by timing, cost (often) is not a priority.

Turnaround: usually it takes us about 2 weeks per subclass. We cannot speed it up - because thoroughness is the key issue. However, we could send you documents as soon as we find them, with proper search report to follow in the end. If prior art search fails to reveal any relevant documents, we still provide references to documents found during the process which were at least partially relevant - just to provide proof what the job has been carried out.

Money: while we require no payment in advance (which is, frankly speaking, a totally weird practice - but it's our only chance to convince prospective customers that we are not con artists), we ask that the half to be paid once you receive first preliminary results (a first document we were able to find and deliver to you), and you will pay the remainder upon receiving the search report.

Results are provided as is - search report will be in English and patent documents will be in Russian (we can translate it for you though) . If found Russian patent documents are newer than 1994, we will provide copies of its abstracts in English at no extra charge (provided that Russian Patent Office database contains these). Older documents (pre-1994) do not have English abstracts published.

Translation: we offer to translate these Russian patent documents (abstracts or full patent documents at your choice) at $0.12 per word (English). Check out our portfolio of most recent Russian patent/articles translated from Russian into English.
Job will be carried out by a US based seasoned translator (his mother tongue is American English) who's got extensive scientific background and professional experience - many years at DuPont, CB Research & Development, Beard Research Inc and Polytechnic University, Brooklyn. Not only he translates well - he also points out many errors in original texts.
