I am an inventor and as such have to look through hundreds of national and international patents. I mainly use service provided by the US and European patent offices, but was unpleasantly surprised by how inefficient and ill-organized the Russian Federation patent-search service is.

It was pleasantly surprised to find later the "PatentsFromRU" service, which promptly provides copies of old Soviet and Russian patents. Fast and simple.

I still cannot find any site which could provide key-word or number search of Soviet and Russian patents. I have tried several, and they don't work.
